Through this partnership, Riga Hockey Cup will become one of the first European youth ice hockey tournaments to be integrated into the Elite Prospects system — the world’s leading and most trusted hockey database.

This partnership represents a major step forward in youth player development, giving young athletes competing at the Riga Hockey Cup the opportunity to build verified, professional-style player profiles. With the support of Elite Prospects system, players will be able to track their development over time and present themselves more professionally to scouts, clubs, and hockey organizations worldwide.

The Riga Hockey Cup is Europe’s largest youth hockey championship and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. The tournament takes place annually in Riga, Latvia, and in 2026 will run from April 3 to May 3. This year’s edition is expected to host 310 teams from 25 countries, with age groups ranging from U9 to U18. Over two decades, the Riga Hockey Cup has established itself as a cornerstone of international youth hockey development, providing a unique international experience platform.
