1. There will be 6 groups of 4 teams and 2 groups of 5 teams in the first round. All teams in their individual group play each other once.

2A1. After the 1st round numbers 1 and 2 of each group will qualify for 1/8th finals, quarter finals, semi finals and finals for places 1 until 16 in accordance with the game schedule.

2B1. After the 1st round numbers 3 of each group will qualify for groups S and T for places 17 until 24. All teams in their individual group play each other once.

2B1A. After the 2nd round numbers 1 of each group (S and T) will qualify for the final for 17th and 18th place.

2B1B. After the 2nd round numbers 2 of each group (S and T) will qualify for the final for 19th and 20th place.

2B1C. After the 2nd round numbers 3 of each group (S and T) will qualify for the final for 21st and 22nd place.

2B1D. After the 2nd round numbers 4 of each group (S and T) will qualify for the final for 23rd and 24th place.

2A1. After the 1st round numbers 4 and 5 of each group will qualify for groups U and V for places 25 until 34. All teams in their individual group (U and V) play each other once except the teams who played each other in the 1st round (4K vs 5K and 4P vs 5P). The results of the 1st round game between 4K and 5K as well as 4P vs 5P will be carried forward to the 2nd round (Group U or V).
