POSTPONED TO 2022

Dear Riga Hockey Cup participants,

Unfortunately, we must share some bad news with you. The lockdown period in Latvia has been extended to 6 ^thof April. There are still limitations on events` organization and attendance for spectators. Due to that obstacle it is not realistic that Riga Hockey Cup tournament will occur in April 2021.

It is also clear that the decision to postpone the tournament to May or even June could also be premature, as there is currently no certainty that it can be organized in one of these month. However, we consider the possibility of holding a smaller, alternative tournament in August, but this of course depends on the situation in the corresponding period.

Therefore, we regret to inform you that we do not see any other possibilities to postpone the Riga Hockey Cup in April 2021 than to April 2022.

Based on all the above information, we would like to announce the following.

RHC 2022. With this letter we announce new dates for Riga Hockey Cup 2022 dates:

01.04.2022 – 03.04.2022 U-12AA & U-12AAA
08.04.2022 – 10.04.2022 U-14AA & U-14AAA
15.04.2022 – 18.04.2022 U-13 & U-15
22.04.2022 – 24.04.2022 U-9 & U-11 & U-16
29.04.2022 – 01.05.2022 U-10 & U-18 & U-20

All tournament fees will remain unchanged for participants with an outstanding balance to be refunded and previously applied to Riga Hockey Cup 2020 or 2021 (raise of fees will only be applicable to new participants or those who rejected participation in 2020 and/or 2021).

Applications are open from today and ending on December 31st – 2021.

RHC 2021 Summer edition. The alternative, smaller Riga Hockey Cup tournament, with a limited number of teams, is planned in the following 2 weekends:

20.08.2021 – 22.08.2021 U-11 (born 2011) & U-13 (born 2009) & U-15 (born 2007)
27.08.2021 – 29.08.2021 U-12 (born 2010) & U-14 (born 2008) & U-16 (born 2006)

Applications for this tournament are open from today until June 20 ^th– 2021.

The final decision about this tournament will be taken on June 21 ^st– 2021.

Format. Each team will play 6 games of 3 x 15 minutes running time (last 2 minutes stop time).

Tournament Fee:

Tournament fee will be € 525.00 per team.

Individual fee per player/coach will be € 173.00 per person based on 4 nights in a double room (surcharge for single rooms).

Rate for 3 nights will be € 138.00 per person (based on double room occupancy).

Included in the fee :

4 (or 3) nights in a 4-star hotel including breakfast.
1 meal per day (lunch OR dinner on Friday, lunch OR dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday).
We have chosen for 1 meal per day to give the teams the opportunity to explore Riga or the beaches of Jūrmala in summertime.
